Hi! I’m Trisha.

The heart behind Melodies in Bloom Doula Services LLC

A woman sitting on a black sofa in a living room, smiling at the camera, wearing a black dress and white sandals.

For over 15 years, I’ve cared for babies and supported families as a nanny, and somewhere along the way, I realized that what I really love most is being there, really there, for people in those tender, messy, beautiful early days of parenthood.

Watching my amazing sister go through her own postpartum journey is what truly pushed me to follow this path into becoming a certified postpartum doula. Seeing firsthand how much support can mean in those early weeks lit a fire in me, and I knew this was exactly where I was meant to be. Here, with you!

I want this space to be a place where you feel safe, supported, and seen. Whether I’m folding baby laundry while you nap, talking through newborn feeding tips, or just being a steady presence in the middle of the night, I’m here to walk alongside you as you find your new rhythm.

There is absolutely no judgment here—just care, compassion, and support.

I proudly serve all families, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, single parents, chosen families, and anyone who needs a steady, loving presence during this time.

I had the privilege to train and certify through ProDoula, and now I get to offer not only hands-on help, but emotional support, encouragement, and provide a calm presence when you need it most.

The name Melodies in Bloom is deeply personal to me. It’s inspired by my family and two of the most important people in my life: my niece, Melody, and my Uncle Tom, who is no longer with us. My uncle taught me how to lead with kindness, to notice the beauty in the little things, and to love big. He adored nature, art, and music, and his never ending wisdom still guides me through every day.

Melody, my sweet and curious niece, is a constant reminder of how life is all about change. How each step we take, each lesson we learn, helps us bloom into something beautiful. Watching her bloom in her own way has taught me that growth, although it can be hard and scary at times, is also about embracing every moment and that love and care can help us all thrive.

When I’m not snuggling babies or helping parents feel more like themselves again, you can usually find me soaking up time with the people I love and singing along to The Beatles.

I’d be honored to be part of your journey. Let’s make this season one where you feel just as cared for as the little one you’re holding!
